Omer Barr is an Israeli documentary photographer based between London and Tel Aviv.

He grew up in a small kibbutz in southern Israel, a close-knit and cooperative community where everyone shared responsibilities and resources. This way of life taught him the values of unity, empathy, and the beauty of diversity from an early age.

Omer’s path into photography began during his military service. He spent nearly three years as a combat photographer in the IDF Spokesperson Unit, where he documented life on the front lines. It was there that he discovered the power of photography to tell meaningful human stories, beyond just conflict.

Today, Omer is inspired by real people, diverse communities, and different faiths. His work explores cultural identity, daily life, and personal connection. Through his lens, he captures rituals, traditions, and the emotions that tie us all together. Each image is a tribute to the strength and spirit of humanity, and an invitation to see the world through someone else's eyes.
